Savi Tools ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Savi Tools TNSE platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Email address — collected at the free assessment gate and account registration
- Name — collected at account registration
- Filing status — collected during Quarterly Tax Estimator setup
- Financial inputs — gross income and deductible expenses entered into the Tax Estimator
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, time spent in the application
- Device and browser information — browser type, operating system, IP address
- Authentication events — login timestamps, session duration
2.3 Payment Information
Payment information is processed directly by Stripe. Savi Tools does not store credit card numbers, CVV codes, or full payment card data. We retain only subscription status and billing history records provided by Stripe.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Process subscription payments via Stripe
- Send transactional emails — subscription confirmation, account notifications
- Send marketing emails — with your consent, subject to your right to opt out at any time
- Improve the Service based on usage patterns
- Comply with legal obligations
- Maintain security and prevent fraud
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
We share your information only with the following third-party service providers who process data on our behalf under documented data processing agreements:

You may request a complete export of all personal data we hold about you. We will deliver your data in a machine-readable format (JSON or CSV) within 45 days of your request.
5.2 Right to Delete
You may request complete deletion of your account and all associated personal data within 45 days of your request. Note: billing and transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by applicable financial regulations and are not subject to deletion requests.
5.3 Right to Opt Out of Data Sale
We do not sell your personal data. You do not need to take any action to opt out.
5.4 Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of your CCPA rights.

7. Data Security
We protect your personal data using the following controls:
- Encryption at rest: AES-256
- Encryption in transit: TLS 1.2 or higher
- Access control: Role-based access via Microsoft Entra External ID
- Audit logging: All data access events logged with timestamp and user ID
- Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure — SOC 2 certified cloud provider
Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to industry-standard protections.
8. Cookies and Tracking
We use session cookies for authentication and application functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you of material changes to this Privacy Policy via email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
